Example: For purposes of determining standard to be applied in defamation action, this term includes artists, athletes, business people, dilettantes, and anyone who is famous or infamous because of who he is or what he has done. For libel purposes, those who have assumed roles of special prominence in society. In Cambodian Press law, for libel purposes, those who have higher functions and well know to the public or those who are ordinary people but well-known to the public such as singers, actors etc.
